No matter where you work, you should strive to have polished, businesslike makeup every day. Whatever type of workplace you are in—corporate or creative—you should learn to adapt to it. I believe everyone should wear makeup that gives them a boost of confidence without interfering with their work. The boost you get from your work makeup is what matters most! Your work appearance shouldn't require too many items or take too much time to complete. For my three key workplace makeup tips, see below: 



  1. Read the Room

Your daily makeup routine should be suitable for the environment. If you work an office job, a more natural look is probably the best way to go. Rather than wearing a really strong makeup look, you should focus on highlighting your best features. It is usually a good idea to sort of follow the crowd. If you are someone who works in a more creative setting, the look is usually going to be bolder and distinctive.

  1. Go Easy on the Eyeshadow

Carey Mulligan’s natural eyeshadow look topped with a very thin black eyeliner is usually the best route to take for office makeup. It does not contain a lot of glitter and is not overly flashy. A look like this one makes the eyes appear more awake, and is a handy tip to use at the end of a long week.

  1. The More Comfortable, the Better! 

    
    Do not wear makeup that will interfere with your ability to work. Your work will be affected if you continuously feel self-conscious about it or have to touch it up frequently. Find the best products that look the best and feel the best on your skin. You want to appear comfortable, confident, and put together.

    This was such a great topic to discuss! Most people don’t think about the certain type of makeup to wear to work they just use the most neutral colors they have. Will definitely have to take your tips into consideration

College City and Williams Go Hand in Hand Willams Baptist University Welcome to College City!   The place that I have called my second home for three years now is College City, Arkansas. It has a population of 455 and is merged with the nearby town Walnut Ridge. Williams Baptist University , a four-year liberal arts private institution, is the heart and focal point of College City.
